- You can omit the lemon juice, but the cookies will not be as soft and chewy.
- You can use foil for these cookies, but I recommendÂ air fryer parchment paper. I find theÂ parchment paperÂ circulates the heat better than foil. With foil, I found the bottom of the cookies browned a little faster, making it hard for the center to set.
