slimming crispy chilli beef

Ingredients:

    • For the Crispy Beef:
      • 350g lean beef frying steak, visible fat removed, cut into thin strips
      • 2 tbsp cornflour
      • 1 tsp Chinese five-spice powder
    • For the Stir-Fry:
        • 4 tbsp brown sauce
        • 3 tbsp dark soy sauce
        • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
        • 4 garlic cloves, crushed
        • 1 tbsp grated ginger
        • 3 tbsp sugar-free orange squash diluted with 400ml water
        • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
        • 2 tbsp tomato puree
        • ½ tsp dried red chilli flakes
        • 1 crumbled beef stock cube
        • 2 onions, thickly sliced
        • 2 red peppers, deseeded and sliced
        • 200g carrots, julienned
        • 150g sugar snap peas, trimmed
        • 250g dried medium egg noodles
        • Chopped fresh red chilli (optional, for garnish)
